Literacy Services

Learn English with Mango Languages. Each Mango lesson is focused on practical, common conversation skills and includes instruction on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and culture.

Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers are recruited, trained, and supported by LS staff and support services.  Literacy Suffolk has approximately 500 Adults waiting for tutors to help them improve their reading, writing, and English speaking skills.  Two hours a week of your time can make a difference in the lives of others in their community.  For more information about becoming a literacy volunteer visit the Literacy Suffolk.

In addition to needing trained volunteers to work with the large population of adult learners who need basic skills improvement, Literacy Suffolk also depends on financial support to continue to serve the community.

You can feel confident that your gift today will be put to valuable and immediate use.
