Monthly Book Discussions 

Book discussions are online via Zoom! Please register for each book discussion you would like to participate in. Instructions and a link to the Zoom meeting will be emailed to you. A Suffolk County Library card with a valid email address in your library card record are needed to participate. Contact the library at Adult@amityvillepubliclibrary.org or by phone at (631) 264 - 0567 if you need assistance. 

March Book Discussion:
Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

Taken hostage by a failed bank robber while attending an open house, eight anxiety-prone strangers--including a redemption-seeking bank director, two couples who would fix their marriages, and a plucky octogenarian--discover their unexpected common traits.

**Long Island Reads Selection of 2021**
The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett

Separated by their embrace of different racial identities, two mixed-race identical twins reevaluate their choices as one raises a black daughter in their southern hometown while the other passes for white with a husband who is unaware of her heritage.
