Our journey will begin by picking up our tour guide, Bruce Michael, in Southampton. He will escort us through the historic Southampton Village, lead us through a stroll on one of America’s best beaches - Cooper’s Beach, let us gawk at the lavish estates on Billionaire’s Row and then allow us to stop to enjoy Southampton Village’s shopping district. Feel free to enjoy a mid-morning snack as you take in the quaint village before we head off to Conscience Point. We will take a short walk to the landing spot of the founding families of Southampton on this 60-acre refuge and find out exactly how Southampton began. This tour will then continue onto Sag Harbor for a buffet luncheon at Page at 63 Main. After lunch, we will explore the shops on Sag Harbor’s Main Street and we can walk to the Long Wharf to enjoy bay views. Then we will continue the tour heading into East Hampton and passing by the homes of some famous Hamptonites. The Ladies Village Improvement Society of East Hampton has some quaint little shops with hidden treasures inside so you’ll get a chance to peruse and walk the town as well. Finally, we will head back to Southampton through the gorgeous neighborhoods of Sagaponack, Bridgehampton and Hampton’s horse country. We’ll drop off our guide back in Southampton then head back to the library. It is sure to be an entertaining experience!
