Amityville Public Library, recognizing the diversity of backgrounds and religious traditions of residents of our District, will show no preference for any religion in programs or decorations. Programs and decorations will be based on cultural and informational principles.
- Workshops may include demonstrations and hands-on participation in the preparation of foods, floral decorations with non-religious symbols, package wrappings and other seasonal activities.
- Programs may include seasonal music and songs with non-religious themes.
- Displays and decorations with seasonal themes will be cultural, informational and artistic.
- Displays of Library books and materials on all subjects are prepared as a service to all residents of our district. Commercially prepared posters concerning cultural events which may include religious symbols may be displayed.
