Welcome to the Amityville Public Library's Teen Program Corner!
Check out all of our current and upcoming teen programs.

Please register for all Virtual/Take & Make programs by e-mailing the YA department  at YA@amityvillepubliclibrary.org . Please include your full name,  grade and name of the program in the body of the e-mail.

ALEBRIJES

Wednesday September 25

Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk-art sculptures depicting            fantastical creatures or familiar animals. Create your own Alebrijes to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month.  

DIY TRICK OR TREAT TOTE BAGS

Wednesday October 2

Decorate trick or treat bags and bring them back to the library. We will donate them to a local shelter. Please return tote bags no later than Monday October 21st. All participants will receive one hour of community service for this program.

7:00 to 8:00 p.m. 

Create your own designs on notebooks for back to school and enjoy some fun snacks!

Snacks around the world- AMY121

Thursday, October 10 

7:00 to 8:00 p.m. 

Take a trip around the world and try snacks from different countries. 

NICU Hearts- AMY122

Thursday, October 17

6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Create a heart for moms with babies in the NICU. All the NICU hearts will be donated to a local hospital. Teens will earn one hour of community service for this program.
