Virtual/Take &Make Programs
Dessert Cones -AMY132
Wednesday May 8
DIY chocolate dipped ice cream cones topped with lots of candy. Fill these fun dipped cones with your favorite ice cream.
Gift of time - AMY133
Wednesday May 15
Create a jar filled with activities that you can do with any member of your family. Give the jar as a gift to someone special.
Positive Thoughts - AMY134
Wednesday June 5
Create a bracelet that has positive words in the design. Give them to a friend or someone special.
Teens will earn one hour of community service for this program.

Design and create your own dream catcher.
Hooked On Books
Have you read any good books lately? Let us know! For community service credit, write a review for any book that you've recently read.
In each of your reviews, include a minimum of 3 sentences summarizing the book you read and a minimum of 3 sentences summarizing whether or not you liked the book you read.
When sending us a review, write "Hooked On Books" as your subject line. Please note that you can submit up to 3 book reviews a month for a total of 6 community service hours a month. Please use a different e-mail other than your school e-mail when sending your book reviews.

For 1 hour of community service credit, help make the library a better place for teens by sharing your ideas on teen programs, services, materials, and our Teen Loft while enjoying tasty snacks!
Candle Making-AMY 136

6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Create your very own candle during this candle making workshop.
Chemo Care Kits -AMY 137
Thursday June 13
6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Create inspirational tote bags, and cards for chemo patients to help brighten their day. These heartfelt items will be donated to Stonybrook University Hospital. Teens will earn one hour of community service for this program.
Join us this summer on an epic adventure at the Amityville Public Library. Come down to the library starting Saturday June 15th to pick up your registration bag. Read and enter raffles to win gift cards and other prizes!
